Walsh records double at Sandown Celestial Halo of Paul Nicholls justified favouritism when winning The Totepool Contenders Listed Hurdle today at Sandown by a comfortable 3 ? lengths under Ruby Walsh. Walsh settled his mount in behind the leader, improved to lead before 2 out and kept on well. Nicholls said afterwards, "He was straight enough today and this will sharpen him up a lot. There are only a couple of weeks to the Champion Hurdle and this is just what the doctor ordered."
