Eziyra could step up in trip following her third place in Saturday's Darley Irish Oaks at the Curragh.

Dermot Weld's charge was a Group Three winner as a juvenile but stepped up markedly on the second place she posted in a Listed race on her seasonal bow to place in the 12-furlong Classic.

Weld was more than satisfied with Eziyra's effort in finishing seven lengths behind Enable, and feels she may event benefit from a longer test, with some late-season targets on the agenda.

The trainer told At The Races: "I was thrilled with the filly, she is very consistent and got a lovely ride from Pat (Smullen). I think it was two seconds faster than standard, it was a proper horse race.

"She's a good Group winner as a two-year-old over seven but the way she got a mile and a half we might even look further with her. It was a great run.

"We'll look at all the races later in the year, the Park Hill (Doncaster) is a possibility - she's in lots of nice races coming up, the Prix Royallieu (Chantilly) later in the year, she's a filly just developing and coming at the right time."
