Weld waits on Festival ground Windsor Park's Cheltenham Festival target is likely to be dictated by the ground, according to trainer Dermot Weld. If the ground is good he is likely to step up to three miles for the first time and take in the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle, but if there is cut in the ground he will take in the Neptune Investment Management Novices' Hurdle after finishing second in the Deloitte Novice Hurdle recently. However, Weld has effectively ruled out a return trip to Prestbury Park for Silver Concorde after he finished fourth in the same race. "Silver Concorde won the bumper there last year, he may or may not go - I'd say we'll keep him for Punchestown," Weld told www.lovetheraces.com. "He's a real good ground horse, he loves good to firm ground. "Windsor Park put up a good performance in the Grade One Hurdle race at Leopardstown and he will either go for the Neptune or the three-mile novice hurdle (Albert Bartlett), one or the other. "Wherever Windsor Park runs, each-way, I'm sure he'll give a good account. "You should always try to choose the easier race so I'll keep both options open. "It depends on the day, it depends on the ground. If there is a nice spring and the ground is good, we might go for the Albert Bartlett with him and if it's soft ground, we'll probably go for the Neptune with him."
