Cj’s Darling kept a large crowd at Sligo happy when justifying strong support under Conor Stone-Walsh in the CT Electrical Maiden Hurdle.

Trained by Gavin Cromwell for the Temple Bloodstock Syndicate, the Idaho mare cruised past the front-running Emily’s Light after the penultimate flight and soon settled the issue.

The 6/5 favourite, available at 5/2 earlier in the day, was in total commend on the run-in for an effortless ten lengths victory over Red Or White with Emily’s Light weakening a further three and three-quarter lengths back in third.

Stone-Walsh said, “She’s done it well, travelled well everywhere and jumped well on the whole.

“Hopefully she can keep improving and she loved that nice ground.”

Favourite backers were in clover having also collected with 5/6 shot Killeaney Bear in the opener.
