Whatever Jacksays was the third winner, from the opening four races at Wexford today, to make all the running, scoring an easy win for trainer Oliver McKiernan and jockey Robbie Colgan.

The son of Beneficial came under pressure approaching the second last flight but responded immediately to Colgan's urgings, stretching clear in the straight for an easy 14 lengths win over Dizzy Rascal

Afterwards McKiernan stated “Whatever Jacksays had a good run in a good race at Fairyhouse recently and did that nicely. The way he finished there, he seemed to like the good ground but he won his point to point on bottomless ground!

“He'll probably go to Punchestown for a three miles handicap hurdle now - hopefully he won't get too much weight as he is a small little horse.”
