Williams keen to get Ballyalton back in action Trainer Ian Williams is hopeful Ballyalton will make a swift return to action following his "frustrating" exit on his long-awaited return at Warwick on Wednesday. Making his first appearance since chasing home the unbeaten Faugheen in the 2014 Neptune Investment Management Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham, the eight-year-old looked to be struggling to keep up on what was his chasing debut, but was closing on the leaders when unseating jockey Will Kennedy three fences from the finish. Williams reports his stable star to be none the worse, however, and is looking forward to having him back on the racecourse in the near future. He said: "Thankfully he's come out of the race fine. It was frustrating for all involved, but the main thing is he's come back safe and sound. "He was warming to his task as the race progressed. They went a decent two-mile pace and it was turning into the sort of race that would have been more suitable for him towards the end. "We were happy with him up until he unseated and there's no harm done. "We'll do a bit of schooling with him to make sure it hasn't dented his confidence too much and if that goes well, we'll look to get him out again as soon as possible."
