Winters Looking forward to Listowel Rebel Fitz will be the headline act for Mick Winters at the Listowel Festival but the Cork trainer is hopeful of big runs from his other contenders. Winters will have "three or four" runners over the seven days, with one in particular looking guaranteed to attract plenty of local support. Discussing his team, Winters said: "I'll probably have three or four runners and will have two horses for bumpers, including Churchtown Champ, who is owned by Jimmy Gordon and will create great local interest. "He won his point to point and the third horse then has since won in England. He's a horse I won't chance on firm ground and while he's not really a bumper horse, there is a two-and-a-half-mile bumper for him. "I've a Presenting mare from the 'Shuil' family who should give a good account of herself and also have (recent winners) Winter Breeze and Lettermacaward for handicaps. "Winter Breeze won't run if the ground is too good but has options in a three-mile handicap hurdle. "Lettermacaward is in good order but got a big hike for winning the last day, he could go back hurdling and you'd fancy him if he got into his three-mile handicap hurdle."
