Winters keen on Cesarewitch for Miss Michael Winters is giving serious consideration to a crack at next month's Irish Cesarewitch at the Curragh with his prolific mare Missunited. The five-year-old won her seventh race from 11 starts under rules at the weekend, with her tally including victories on the level, over hurdles and in bumper company. While Winters believes her future will eventually lie over obstacles, with such a good prize on the horizon he feels obliged to give her the opportunity. "I don't think the handicapper can be too harsh on her as Willie Mullins' mare (Tarla) didn't run her race and Aidan O'Brien's horse (Harrison's Cave) ran too keen," said Winters. "I think we'll take her for the Cesarewitch next, she's got plenty of stamina so why not? "She could be very good over hurdles. She's been winning in heavy ground but only because she's been meeting summer ground horses. She's got a nice action, so I think against better horses she'll need nice ground "There's a few good mares around at the minute like Quevega and Voler La Vedette, they're top-class, so we'll just see how we go. "We wouldn't be afraid of travelling with her to look for some better ground and we'll be looking for black type."
