Yorkshire next for Bunting Godolphin's dual Classic winner Blue Bunting will have her next race in the Darley Yorkshire Oaks at York on August 18, it has been confirmed. A surprise winner of the 1000 Guineas, she was then only fourth when sent off favourite for the Oaks. However, Frankie Dettori picked up a lengthy suspension that day in June for dropping his hands near the finish allowing Izzi Top to claim third. That disappointment has since been long forgotten, though, as the Dynaformer filly got up in the final stride to win the Irish Oaks at the Curragh. After that success connections stated her next race would either be at York or she would wait for the St Leger, but the Yorkshire racegoers will get to see her earlier than anticipated. Her trainer Mahmood Al Zarooni said: "Blue Bunting is doing well and she will go to York for the Yorkshire Oaks. She is in good form and very happy."
