Zambezi Sun Moves To Coolagown Group 1 winner Zambezi Sun has joined Coolagown Stud in County Cork. The son Of Dansili transferred from Pascal Noue's Haras de la Hêtraie in a deal brokered by Bloodstock Agent Richard Venn. The 12-Y-O was trained by Pascal Bary in France to win the Group 1 Grand Prix de Paris and the Group 2 Prix Foy, both over 1m4f, and he also achieved places in three other contests at the highest level. Zambezi Sun hails from the Juddmonte Family of Continent, Interval and Midships. He retired to stud in 2010 and is an out-cross for Sadler's Wells line mares. Stud owner and manager David Stack commented: “Zambezi Sun is a striking individual, with a great walk, a physique to match and an excellent temperament. He should be a valuable addition to the Irish Stallion ranks, as he is a Group 1 winner by leading sire Dansili, that has statistically proven to be so successful with Sadler Wells line mares.
