Zeb in rude health after Navan victory Colm Murphy today reported Big Zeb in great form after his winning return to action at Navan on Sunday. The Champion Chaser began the defence of his crown with a cosy victory in the Fortria Chase, beating Golden Silver by a length-and-a-quarter. Leopardstown at Christmas is next on the cards for the son of Oscar as his campaign is geared towards the Queen Mother Chase once again. “He's very good. I'm delighted with the way he came out of the race,” said Murphy. “We'll freshen him up for a while now and then go to Leopardstown at Christmas (Dial-A-Bet Chase). “All going well he could go then for the Tied Cottage (Sunday January 30th) at Punchestown. It's all systems go for Cheltenham then. “We'll just keep him ticking over. He's out in the field today but he'll do a canter tomorrow. We'll do gentle work with him over the next few weeks before stepping it up closer to Christmas. “I'm delighted with the way everything went yesterday.”
