Zoffany heads National 13 Aidan O'Brien's Zoffany features among 13 possible runners in the boylesports.com Vincent O'Brien National Stakes at the Curragh on Saturday. O'Brien has saddled seven previous winners of the Group One contest, with the likes of Desert King (1996), Hawk Wing (2001) and George Washington (2005) on the roll of honour. Zoffany won the Phoenix Stakes over six furlongs on his latest start and would appear to be O'Brien's main representative in a team which also includes Emperor Hadrian, High Ruler and Lake Ontario. Jim Bolger has entered Glor Na Mara, second on his last three racecourse appearances, while Jessica Harrington has supplemented the unbeaten Pathfork, a move mirrored by Saeed bin Suroor with Janood. Another interesting contender is the Mick Halford-trained Casamento. The Sheikh Mohammed-owned colt was an impressive winner on his Tipperary debut but his trainer has yet to decide whether he will take the step up in class this weekend. "We've left him in but we'll work him in the morning and make up our minds then," said Halford. "We'll see how he works and see what else is in the race and then we can decide what to do. "He was due to work this morning but we had a terrible night with a lot of wind and rain, so we thought we'd leave it until tomorrow. "He's in good form and we'll see what happens. We haven't got as far as thinking about who would ride him if he does run yet. "Shane Foley does all the work on him at home and was due to ride him the first day but he got injured and is going to be out of action for a while. "We'll see what's what later in the week."
