Zous And Me showed a good attitude to make a winning debut for Joseph O'Brien in the fillies' maiden on Galway's card.

The 5/1 shot availed of a lovely split in the home straight to deliver her challenge and she came home best in the final 100 yards to win by half a length under Dylan Browne McMonagle. Sanctijude (5/1) finished second for Willie McCreery and Nathan Crosse.

Stabel representative Michael Halford said: "It was a great effort and she showed a lot of courage. It was a great ride from Dylan and it opened up lovely when some of them ran off the bend turning into the straight. She showed a lot of guts to stick at it well.

"She quickened up well, stuck her head out and tried hard. It is hard to win first-time here, without a run, and it was a very promising start."
