Above The Curve primed for French Group One Brendan Powell expects Above The Curve to relish conditions when she contests the Group 1 Prix de l'Opera Longines at ParisLongchamp on Sunday. Joseph O'Brien's American Pharoah filly is gunning for a top-level hat-trick after victories at this track and in the Moyglare at the Curragh on Irish Champions Weekend. Assistant trainer Powell said: "Yes she does (go for the Prix de l'Opera), William Buick is riding her. "She is very well and has come out of her last race good, she's in great form. "She will go over there and I think the ground will suit her - a strong run mile and a quarter on very soft ground will suit her. "She is a very good filly and she seems to be improving all the time. I think she will improve from the Curragh as well."
