All okay with Jonathan Moore Jonathan Moore is in line to make a swift return at Downpatrick on Sunday after escaping serious injury in a fall at Thurles. Moore is set to take up his one booked ride - Creca Trova for Jim Dreaper in the Racing Post Handicap Chase - if, as expected, he is passed fit by the racecourse doctor. The jump jockey is reported to be none the worse after his mount Bench Marker was brought down at the final flight in the Clonoulty Handicap Hurdle on Saturday. As a precaution, he was taken by air ambulance to Limerick University Hospital where X-rays revealed there was no damage done. He was discharged afterwards. "Jonathan plans to ride at Downpatrick today. He seems fine, but we'll play it by ear," said the Irish Turf Club's senior medical officer, Dr Adrian McGoldrick. "He just has to have a standard examination when he gets here. If he's OK we'll let him ride no problem. It sounds very positive anyway. "The X-rays were perfectly clear and he was discharged from hospital last evening. "The initial feeling was that that he might have a fractured pelvis but the consultant rang me at eight o'clock last evening and said the X-rays were perfectly clear. "I've spoken to Jonathan and he said he was perfectly OK. It's very good news." Big wins for Moore this season have featured Bigbadjohn in the Reynoldstown Novices' Chase at Ascot and Irish Cavalier in the Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby, both coming through his link-up with Newport trainer Rebecca Curtis.
