Aneen to return in the Guineas Aneen remains on course to make her seasonal return in the Tattersalls Irish 1,000 Guineas at the Curragh on Sunday. The Kevin Prendergast-trained three-year-old, who also holds entries in the Investec Oaks and Coronation Stakes, is currently a 14-1 shot for the fillies' Classic on Sunday. After meeting with defeat on her debut at Leopardstown, the daughter of Lawman signed off last season when landing a seven-furlong maiden in impressive fashion at the Curragh. Angus Gold, racing manager to owner Hamdan Al Maktoum, said: "As far as I know she is going to start in the Irish 1,000 Guineas. "That was the plan as far as I know and I've not heard anything different. "Everyone hopes she will be good, but I have not seen her work myself so I can't say much more about the filly. "They seem happy with her and they wouldn't be running her if they weren't happy."
