Connections are mulling over plans for Bob Olinger with Ascot next Friday a possibility for the exciting novice chaser.

Last season's impressive Ballymore Novices' Hurdle winner got his chasing career off to a perfect start at Gowran Park last month.

The Sholokhov gelding has entries in Grade 1 company over the Christmas period but is also engaged in the Grade 2 Howden Noel Novice Chase at Ascot.

“We’re trying to form a plan and we’re not sure yet where we’ll go next with him,” said de Bromhead at Fairyhouse on Saturday.

“He’s entered for Ascot on Friday. He’s in the race at Limerick and the two novices at Leopardstown but we’ve no firm plans as of yet.”
