Ashdale Bob set for Dublin Racing Festival Recent Naas faller Ashdale Bob bids to get back on track at the Dublin Racing Festival next weekend as the Jessica Harrington trained gelding continues in Grade 1 company. Ashdale Bob was the winner of the Grade 2 2m4f Bet Victor-sponsored novice hurdle at Navan in December before falling at the second hurdle in the Grade 1 Lawlor’s Of Naas Novice Hurdle. Jessica Harrington reports “Ashdale Bob will go for the two miles and six furlongs (Nathaniel Lacy Solicitors Novice Hurdle) race at Leopardstown next weekend. He’s a stayer. “He’s flying and had no race the last day. He’s absolutely perfect after the fall. “It was just unfortunate as he came up a stride and a half too far away from the hurdle. He was fine after it.” Harrington has also entered Punestown debut bumper winner Ever Present, who finished fourth to the impressive Sir Gerhard in a Listed race at Navan, in the Grade 2 Goffs Future Stars Bumper at Leopardstown's Dublin Racing Festival. She says “Ever Present could also go for the bumper as long as the ground is a bit better.”
