Donald McCain's Weird Al is top weight (11st 12lb), with Teaforthree, third in the Grand National, next in on 11st 10lb. National runner-up Cappa Bleu would have to take his chance in Ayr off 11st 4lb. Aintree also-rans like Roberto Goldback (11st 8lb), Chicago Grey (11st 6lb), Join Together (11st 5lb), Across The Bay (11st 5lb) and Rare Bob (11st 3lb) could all turn out again quickly. Among those who bypassed Aintree are Kelso winner Always Right (11st), Mr Moss (10st 9lb), the novices Houblon Des Obeaux (11st 5lb) and Poungach (11st 1lb), and Cheltenham winner Same Difference (11st 1lb). Silver By Nature (11st 2lb), Well Refreshed (10st 13lb), Wyck HIll (10st 13lb), Godsmejudge (10st 10lb) and Rival D'Estruval (11st) are other leading contenders to note.
