Ayr called off The jumps fixture at Ayr on Monday has been abandoned due to a waterlogged track. Officials at the Scottish circuit made the relatively straightforward decision to call off the meeting following a Sunday morning inspection of the track. Ayr only sustained five millimetres of rainfall within the last 24 hours, but December's monthly total now stands at a whopping 106mm. Clerk of the course Emma Marley said the track was "saturated" and that there was a forecast for further heavy rain before the meeting was due to start.
