Ayr to inspect for tomorrow's card The National Hunt meeting at Ayr on Sunday must pass an 8am precautionary inspection due to the prospect of heavy rain. With the going already heavy following eight millimetres of rain in the past 24 hours, officials have their eyes fixed on the skies. The forecast is not good, with around 15 millimetres forecast through Saturday and further rain on Sunday when there is also a chance of snow. There is also a meeting scheduled for Ayr on Tuesday.
