Bago Connections Happy Ahead Of Japan Cup Bago is reported to have settled in well ahead of his run in the Japan Cup on Sunday. The French-trained four-year-old, third to Hurricane Run in his bid to land back-to-back victories in the Prix de l´Arc de Triomphe last month, flew to Japan a week ago. 'He went to Japan last Tuesday and spent the first five days in quarantine,' said a spokeswoman for English-born trainer Jonathan Pease. Bago, winner of five Group One races, was last seen finishing fourth to Shirocco in the Breeders´ Cup Turf at Belmont Park four weeks ago.(C) PA Sport
