Willie McCreery is considering a trip to Bahrain with Insinuendo after her brilliant effort in defeat at Ascot on Saturday.

Sent off at 80/1, the Gleneagles five-year-old finished strongly to take third behind Emily Upjohn and Thunder Kiss in the Group 1 Qipco British Champions Fillies & Mares Stakes.

Already successful at Group 2 level, McCreery now has the Bahrain International Trophy in mind for the Deegan Racing Syndicate owned bay.

"She ran a blinding race," the Co Kildare handler said.

"Oisin (Orr) gave her a beautiful ride, had her settled the whole way and she was fastest over the last furlong.

"She's been invited to a race in Bahrain (International Trophy) on November 18th so we'll have a look at that. It's a Group 3 and worth a lot.

"She's in the Sceptre Sale at Tattersalls about two weeks after that."
