Ballybow opens up at the business end Ballybow made the best way home in the extended 2m2f maiden hurdle at Naas for Gordon Elliott and Sam Ewing. Crack bumper horse A Dream To Share made a shuddering mistake in fourth at the second-last flight and that saw him lose all momentum. Krak led over it, but was soon claimed by Ballybow who came to the last with 7/4 favourite Kalix Delabarriere attempting to reel him in. Ballybow got away from it well, though, and went on inside the final furlong on the climb for home. The leader prevailed by a growing nine lengths at 9/2 from Kalix Delabarriere with Krak (10/3) another two and a-quarter lengths back in third. Ewing said: “He’s done that very well today. "I suppose you could write off his first run where he clipped the heel of a loose horse. His last run was good, and he loved that ground today. "He’s a nice horse and can step up in trip no problem. “The horse that was second to him in a bumper at Sligo (Coral River) won a maiden hurdle in Gowran during the week.” Paddy Power made Ballybow 33/1 from 50s for the Albert Bartlett.
