Luck Between Us delivers for Duggan and Moore Luck Between Us was an all-the-way winner of the Michael Cawe Suspended Ceilings Handicap Hurdle over an extended two-miles-five-furlongs in Ballinrobe. He looked to have plenty on his plate over the last, though, as both Arcland, in the middle, and Pilgrims Walk, on the outer, were in close attendance. The latter fluffed it while Arcland came under pressure after negotiating it as Luck Between us got away well. Niall Moore drove him on turning for home and kept him going to foil fast-finishing In The Minus by a diminishing half a length at 7/1. The runner-up was backed down from 12/1 to 17/2. Arcland dropped a length and a half further back to third at 18/1. Luck Between Us continued his good form having delivered at Killarney in July before a runner-up berth in Sligo the following month. Donncha Duggan said: "I told Niall to be handy and, if there was no pace, to let him on. I had my eye on Niall for a long time, he's a good claimer and rides to instructions as much as possible. "He said he hung left all the way, and he probably got beat in Sligo for going left after the last, so he might be a better horse at a left-handed track. "We'll see what the handicapper does, but he jumps fences well, so we have that option too. "He's a straightforward horse at home, my daughter Aibhe rides him, but he gets a bit fresh when he comes racing. "He'll handle soft ground, but not winter soft.
