Barry Fitzgerald saddled a winner in Dundalk on Friday evening through Genesis and has prospects of supplementing those gains with Ballycallan King at Thurles on Tuesday.

The seven-year-old Getaway gelding contests the extended two mile maiden hurdle after filling the runner-up berth on four occasions since last summer.

The trainer said: "Solid enough horse all year.

"I'm going to try something different the next day and put blinkers on him. Hopefully, he will come forward.

"He will like the ground there.

"I think he is the second highest-rated horse among the entries and he'll take his chance."

Sean Cleary-Farrell takes 7lb off his back.
