Aidan O’Brien got off the mark for the season when Accredited got on top late on to land the Space Traveller At Compas Stallions Maiden at Naas.

The Siyouni colt had been fourth on his sole previous outing at Dundalk in late October and went to post a 13/8 shot on his seasonal debut.

Ryan Moore produced him to challenge inside the final furlong and he led inside the final 100 yards to post a two-and-a-half length win over 11/10 favourite Sindagan

“We’re delighted with him. He had one run in Dundalk, Ronan (Whelan) rode him and said seven with an ease in the ground,” said O’Brien.

“Ryan said he’d have no problem getting a mile and no problem with better ground.

“He’ll have to go for a winners’ race now. We’ll go gentle with him, he’ll end up going up to a mile and then probably to stakes level.

“He’s a good looking horse and by Siyouni as well.”
