Banks Hill to return at Longchamp

Andre Fabre`s high class filly Banks Hill is one of 13 remaining acceptors left in the Group One Prix d`Ispahan at Longchamp on Sunday.

The Breeders` Cup Filly And Mare Turf and Coronation Stakes winner is unraced this term.

The British-trained acceptors include a Godolphin quartet headed by the last year`s Sussex Stakes winner Noverre.

Completing the quartet are Summoner, Best Of The Bests and Masterful. All four are also entered in the Juddmonte Lockinge Stakes at Newbury on Saturday.

John Dunlop`s French Group One winner Olden Times is another holding entries at Longchamp and Newbury while Barry Hills has left in his Prix Dollar second Chancellor.

Other overseas entries are Tarfshi (Michael Jarvis) and Kevin Prendergast`s Prix de l`Opera third Rebelline.

John Gosden`s Sulk, winner of the Prix Marcel Boussac, has the option of contesting the French Oaks prep, the Prix Saint-Alary, with Gay Kelleway`s Grey Pearl.

The Prix Vicomtesse Vigier over a mile seven and ahalf furlongs, the third Group race on the card, is well subscribed to by the British staying fraternity.

The cross channel acceptors are Fair Question (Dunlop), Wareed (Godolphin), Double Honour (Mark Johnston), Gallery God (Geoff Wragg) and Narrative (Godolphin).
