Bellshill primed for Naas Grade 1 Willie Mullins has nominated the Lawlor's Hotel Novice Hurdle at Naas for his exciting prospect Bellshill. A leading bumper performer last season, he found only Barters Hill too good at Aintree before winning the Champion Bumper at Punchestown and has been flawless over hurdles to date. A nine-length stroll in a maiden hurdle at Cork was followed by a very impressive 12-length success in the Grade Two Navan Novice Hurdle and now he will step up to the highest level. "Bellshill will go for the Grade One in Naas, the Lawlor's Hotel," said Mullins. "I think Yorkhill, Bellshill and Min could easily go back to two miles, while the rest of novices could be Neptune or Albert Bartlett horses. "Hopefully some more nice novices might come to light, but they are the best at the moment."
