Black Bear Possible for Longchamp Sunday

Aidan O'Brien's Derby market mover Black Bear Island is among a clutch of Ballydoyle entries in this Sunday's Prix Noailles at Longchamp.

Winner of a maiden at Naas last August, the full-brother to the stable's Derby hero High Chaparral was noted to have worked nicely among a group after racing at the Curragh recently and is as low as 10-1 joint second favourite for Epsom with bookmakers Victor Chandler.

The Group Two, over a shade more than 10 furlongs, also contains Crowfoot, Drumbeat, Golden Sword and Liszt from O'Brien.

Patrician's Glory, now registered for Tom Tate instead of Jane Chapple-Hyam, could also be involved along with Jim Bolger's Goffs Million runner-up Gan Amhras.

On the same card at the Paris track is the Group Two Prix d'Harcourt where Thewayyouare could make his debut for O'Brien. He has moved from Andre Fabre's care since his latest run in the French Derby last summer.
