Enda Bolger is in no rush with Ballyoisin who is set to return to action later in the spring.

The Presenting gelding was last seen chasing home the impressive Cilaos Emery in the Hilly Way Chase at Cork in December.

He had taken the Fortria Chase in testing conditions at Navan prior to that but the JP McManus-owned gelding has gained most of his wins on much better ground.

The nine-year-old is a three-time winner at Killarney and a return to the Kerry track is on the agenda while Fairyhouse and Punchestown are also options.

Bolger said:-“Ballyoisin will be back in the spring as he wants really good ground. He’s a real daisy cutter.

“There is Fairyhouse and Punchestown and also Killarney, he likes it around there.

“He’s not even cantering at the moment so he won’t be going to Cheltenham.”
