Brian Hamilton Update Twice top point-to-point rider in the North and the current leading senior jockey, Brian Hamilton is at present recovering from serious injuries in the high dependency unit at Belfast's Royal Victoria Hospital.The 36-year-old Downpatrick trainer/rider (he combined roles with Joyful Jack in an older horses maiden at Necarne last May) took a fall when schooling horses at home almost a fortnight ago.Dr Walter Halley, Turf Club Medical Officer, reported on Wednesday that Hamilton sustained multiple injuries including rib fractures, a collapsed lung and has had his spleen removed.
