British pair beaten in Geelong Cup Manndawi fared best of the two British runners as he finished third behind Almoonqith in the Geelong Cup at Geelong racecourse in Australia on Wednesday. The Ed Dunlop-trained runner finished with a late flourish in the 12-furlong Group Three, but the ex-Mike De Kock-trained runner had already flown by the time he launched his challenge. Former British runner Dandino was second but Roger Charlton's Quest For More failed to figure after being forced to race wide for much of the race after being drawn in stall 16.
