CATHCART NEXT FOR ROSS MOFF

Tony Martin nominated the Cathcart Chase at the Cheltenham Festival next month as 'the more likely race' for his charge Ross Moff after the eight-year-old justified favouritism under Conor O'Dwyer at Thurles this afternoon.

Punters who helped themselves to the 20/1 on offer by Cashmans for the Sun Alliance Chase after he won over fences at Leopardstown at Christmas won't be happy with this latest change in direction.

'The Cathcart looks the most likely race unless Best Mate comes out of the Arkle. The Sun Alliance can be a very hard race on horses but at this stage the Cathcart is the one.'

Cashmans make Ross Moff a 10/1 shot for the Cathcart while Paddy Power quote Ross Moff at 14/1 with a run for the Arkle at the Cotswolds next month.
