Australian superstar Black Caviar looks set to race on for now after bouncing back from a hard trip to Britain.

The six-year-old was a narrow winner of the Golden Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot in June, just clinging on to her 22-race unbeaten run by a head.

Connections of the mare were uncertain about her future, with trainer Peter Moody giving the daughter of Bel Esprit a lengthy holiday before mapping out plans.

While part-owner Neil Werrett confirmed the plan is to retire Black Caviar at the end of the Australian season in 2013, she is in the frame to run again after spending another couple of weeks in the paddock.

Black Caviar is due to return to Moody's care next month and the team will then decide if they will continue her preparation.

"If there is any chance that she is not 100% by then, we will put her to stud," Werrett told www.heraldsun.com.au.

"If all is good we have all agreed we will give her a preparation in the autumn.

"We are just going to let the horse tell us and Pete has some really good advisers in chiropractors and vets."
