Change of colours and a last-gasp win for Flynn Some late hurrying did Duke Otto (22/1) no harm at Wexford today as the Pat Flynn-trained gelding was the last-gasp winner of the Michael O'Murchadha Handicap Hurdle, scoring in a ‘colour change’. Ridden by Gary Noonan and racing from 7lb out-of-the-handicap, Duke Otto sported silks carried by unplaced Tudor Manor in the earlier-race and having been held up well off the pace, finished with a late rattle to score by a short-head from Addragoole. Regarding his Duke of Saxony Syndicate-owned winner, Flynn explained “we forgot his colours when rushing this morning, but he won anyway and that's the main thing. “I had a race in Dundalk in mind for him but said I'd run today even though he was 7lb out-of-the-handicap. He'll get the 7lb (penalty) now, and whatever else, but is a tough little horse and I couldn't believe he got up. "The Dundalk race is a two-mile 0-60 handicap: the course mightn't suit but we'll run him if he gets in." Quotes from Donal Murphy
