Cheveley Park next up for Illuminate Illuminate remains on course to put her unbeaten record on the line in the Connolly's Red Mills Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket later this month. Richard Hannon's filly has won each of her three starts to date, completing her hat-trick with a narrow victory over Besharah in the Duchess of Cambridge Stakes in July. With Besharah having since given the form a significant boost by landing the Lowther at York, the champion trainer is hopeful Illuminate can provide him with successive wins in the Cheveley Park following the triumph of Tiggy Wiggy 12 months ago. "Illuminate goes next for the Cheveley Park Stakes - that has been the plan for her since the Duchess of Cambridge," said Hannon. "We felt after that win that she had done enough and deserved a little break rather than carrying a penalty in the Lowther. "She's always been a pleasure to have around and has answered every question. She's not a complicated ride in any way and Zoffany's progeny appear to go well on softer ground, so rain would not be a concern." "I think that the Duchess of Cambridge Stakes is the strongest piece of juvenile filly form so far this year and Illuminate has done very well at home since then." Besharah could reoppose on September 26, with Lowther runner-up Lumiere and Easton Angel also among the 27 fillies in contention.
