Codd And Holden Team Up At Clonmel In-form rookie trainer Ellmarie Holden has won with her last three runners on the track and can expect to continue the rich vein of form when she sends Lachares to contest the Knockanrawley (Q.R.) Maiden at Clonmel tomorrow evening. Lachares had some placed form on the Flat in France before joining Holden. The four year old has shown steady progression over hurdles resulting in two victories in March and he probably improved again when third at Cork last month in a handicap running off a rating of 125. Recently crowned Amateur Champion Jamie Codd is booked to ride Lachares in tomorrow's finale over two miles and almost one furlong and the partnership should prove difficult to beat. The main opposition is likely to come from Magna Cartor the mount of Patrick Mullins and previous course and distance winner Supreme Vinnie (ridden by Lisa O'Neill).
