Coleman to partner The Druids Nephew Aidan Coleman has picked up the ride aboard leading Crabbie's Grand National contender The Druids Nephew. The eight-year-old was left without a jockey for the showpiece on April 11th after Barry Geraghty suffered a hairline fracture to his left tibia following a fall aboard Sailors Warn at Downpatrick. Earlier this month, Geraghty partnered the Neil Mulholland-trained runner to victory in the Ultima Business Solutions Handicap Chase at the Cheltenham Festival. Asked if it was a difficult choice, Mulholland said: "Not really. Aidan's a top jockey. "There were several jockeys in the picture, but I had a chat with the owners when I got here (Wetherby) and that's who we came up with. Aidan will school him in the morning." Meanwhile, Teaforthree has been ruled out, making it third time unlucky in the world's greatest steeplechase after meeting with a setback. The Rebecca Curtis-trained 11-year-old unseated Nick Scholfield in last year's race after finishing third in the 2013 renewal. Part-owner Nigel Roddis tweeted: "Sorry to say that we've had to scratch Teaforthree from the National. He's OK but will need a few quiet days, which rules him out."
