Colgan & Broad to appeal Robbie Colgan and David Broad will appeal against the punishments handed down to them by the Stewards at Ballinrobe on Friday evening last. Colgan and Broad were found to be in breach of Rule 212 when their Definite Earl finished a staying on second to Admiral Brian. Colgan was handed a 21 day ban and ordered to forfeit his riding fee, Broad was fined E2,000, while Definite Earl was banned from racing for sixty days.
