Collins praying for sun at Ascot

Tracey Collins is praying conditions at Ascot dry out ahead of Anadolu's run in the Sodexo Prestige Cornwallis Stakes on Saturday.

The youngster has won two of her four starts to date, most recently triumphing in a Tipperary Listed event.

Collins is pleased to report her filly has arrived in Britain in rude health but admits she is concerned about the current soft ground in Berkshire.

"She was good in Tipperary the last day but I'm just hoping they are getting some sun there today," said the County Kildare handler.

"The soft ground would be a worry, but there is no other race for her at home so we are taking our chance.

"You just wouldn't know how she'd handle that softer ground so the more it dries out, the better her chance.

"She's travelled over and arrived safe and well, so we'll see how we get on. We'd be delighted if she could run into a place."
