Commander and Nacarat have Aintree options Trainers Nigel Twiston-Davies and Tom George are both undecided over Aintree targets for their star chasers Imperial Commander and Nacarat, with both holding entries in Thursday's 3m1f totesport Bowl and the John Smith's Melling Chase over 2m4f on Friday. 'He has the two options but we don't know where he's going yet,' said Twiston-Davies of his Ryanair Chase winner. 'We'll see where the others are going and decide which ever we think is going to be easier. He's come out of the Festival really well and we're very happy with him.' 'There's not much rain anywhere. The softer the better for him, but as long as it's not firm he'll be all right.' Tom George will wait until Tuesday before deciding on Nacarat's target at Aintree, with the brilliant winner of last month's Racing Post Chase also holding entries in the totesport Bowl and the John Smith's Melling Chase. 'We don't know which race he's going for yet. We are going to leave it for another 24 hours and see what the opposition is going to be like,' said the Stroud trainer. George took time out to consult the grey gelding's usual partner, Tony McCoy, at Newton Abbot yesterday as well as Paddy Brennan, who rides the French import in work. 'I think we will just want to see how things pan out. We are happy with the horse and that's the most important thing. He's fresh and well.' One member of George's string definitely primed for an outing at Aintree on Thursday is Arkle fifth Tartak, who goes for the John Smith's Manifesto Novices' Chase over two and a half miles. 'He's running on Thursday and I think Aintree will really suit him. He was unlucky at Cheltenham as he got badly hampered at the top of the hill and again at the last. Hopeful he might be able to reverse the form with a few of them and the longer trip will suit him as well.'
