Ken Condon is praying for rain ahead of Success Days' planned comeback in the Grosser Preis von Bayern at Munich on November 1.

A revelation in the first half of the season, he was added to the field for t he Derby at Epsom but suffered an injury and trailed home last.

Nursed back to full health by Condon, Success Days will only run in the German Group One over a mile and a half if the ground is suitable.

"The ground is soft there at the moment, but they are forecast to have only one millimetre of rain in the next week or so," said Condon.

"He did a racecourse gallop at Limerick at their last meeting (October 10) and went very well. He's on great terms with himself.

"He stays in training next season, and we will have to do the right thing by the horse.

"There are 16 left in at the moment and the next forfeit stage is on Monday so a few more might come out.

"He will need 'soft' in the going description to run."
