Corbett undergoes operation Eamonn Corbett was undergoing surgery on Monday after breaking his leg in a fall at Cork on Sunday. The 5lb claimer, who rides as Patrick Corbett, sustained the injury following a tumble from Snaidhm at the first hurdle in the Corkman Mares Maiden Hurdle. He was taken to Cork University Hospital. "He has a fractured femur and is being operated on this morning," said the Irish Turf Club's senior medical officer, Dr Adrian McGoldrick.
