Correspondent left in Irish 2,000 Guineas Mick Halford could have Classic aspirations for Irishcorrespondent. The son of Teofilo made an impressive debut in a one-mile maiden at Leopardstown last weekend. "He's come out of it well and we've just this morning left him in the Irish 2,000 Guineas at the second entry stage," said Halford. "We'll get another run into him between now and then somewhere, but I don't have any real plans at this stage. "He gets the mile well and I think I would go further, so we'll see what happens."
