Stuart Crawford landed the feature at Perth this afternoon, the Sky To Scoop Perth Silver Cup Handicap Chase, as his Run With The Wind got up in the dying strides to prevail under Peter Buchanan.

The nine-year-old son of Sadler's Wells was formerly trained by Michael Hourigan and he won seven times for him including one point-to-point.

He made his debut for Crawford at Down Royal last month and finished last five behind Rawnaq in a conditions hurdle.

Back over fences today he was sent off at 20/1 in the colours of John O'Hagan.

Having tracked the leader throughout he travelled well in third four fences from home. He improved into second two out and was soon ridden.

He jumped the last just behind Owen Glendower and the duo had a great battle from there with Run With The Wind just getting up to score by a head.

Gordon Elliott's Russian Regent was sent off a 7/2 chance and he never looked like threatening after making a bad mistake at the fifth.

Gavin Cromwell was also on the mark at the Scottish venue as his St Maxime took the totepool Racing's Biggest Supporter Novices' Handicap Chase under James Kane.

A winner over the course and distance earlier this month the daughter of Alhaarth followed-up today as she made all and came home with eight lengths to spare.

Owned by the DT Racing Club St Maxime was returned a 4/1 chance.

Gordon Elliott had Bouggietopieces here but he could only manage a disappointing fifth after being backed into 11/4 favouritism (from 4's) on-course.
