Shane Crawley is eyeing some big prizes with the fast improving Tartlette next summer.

The daughter of Champs Elysees won on both her outings for the Tara handler at Dundalk in the autumn having been purchased for just £11,000 at the sales last summer.

She ran out an easy four-and-a-half length winner on the second of those appearances on the all-weather and now has an official mark of 83 having been 60 on her first outing in Ireland.

Crawley said:-“Tartlette is out on a break at the minute. We bought her for small enough money and she’s ran twice, won twice, and gone up 23lb.

“She just clicked and it was the (Eyeroller) Syndicate’s first horse.

“The way she is rated you are talking Premier Handicaps so if we could try and get one of them during the summer it would be great.

“We were thinking of going hurdling as well with her but now we will see how far she can take us on the Flat. It would be a shame if anything happened to her.

“The lads are on about Galway so hopefully she can continue to improve.”

Crawley also had news of three-time winner Sassy Diva, who was Listed placed in three bumpers and over hurdles for the yard:-

“Sassy Diva is in foal to Court Cave. I wouldn’t mind another one like her as they are hard got.”
