Creditable Third For Brunel Brunel had to settle for third in the Group Two Darley Oettingen-Rennen at Baden-Baden today.William Haggas´ four-year-old set out to make all under Darryll Holland and although he seemed a bit uncomfortable tackling the first bend, he was still in front as they straightened up in the mile race.But the rider had to get to work on Brunel in the final furlong and it was the Ralf Suerland-trained Martillo who cruised up on the outside to record a comfortable win.Brunel fought gamely in the finish but Near Dock just came through to snatch the runner-up spot.
