Dancingondaceiling (11/4f) was a comfortable winner of the Adare Manor Opportunity Handicap Hurdle to seal a brace of winners in Gowran Park for Gavin Cromwell.

Conor Stone-Walsh sent him about his business to assert before the last and a mistake by the chasing Heliko Conti saw the gap widen on the run-in.

Dancingondaceiling idled in the closing stages as Heliko Conti (14/1) got a second wind and kept on. The margin was reduced to a length and a-half at the line without the runner-up ever looking like laying a glove on the winner. Therellbguddaysyet was some five lengths further back in third at 25/1.

The winner was welcomed in by a jubilant Singing In The Rain Syndicate who were in good voice.

Cromwell also landed race two with Aspurofthemoment ridden by Keith Donoghue.

The trainer said: “It’s brilliant to see syndicates winning on a big day like this.

“Conditions suited there and he needs a stamina test. He’ll make into a grand staying chaser next year at a level.”
