Dabyah has been ruled out of the French 1000 Guineas at Deauville on Saturday following an unsatisfactory scope.

The John Gosden-trained filly was set to line up as a major contender for the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches after making an impressive start to her three-year-old campaign in last month's Fred Darling Stakes at Newbury.

Bruce Raymond, racing manager for owner Abdullah Saeed Al Naboodah, said: "Unfortunately she scoped quite dirty this morning and she's not going to be able to run on Saturday.

"It's a shame, but these things happen and you couldn't send her to France after scoping badly. I think it's better to leave her at home."

Raymond confirmed the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot would be considered as her next objective.
